Use of old technology to to find out something new
Good old reverse phone lookup online, seemed boring to me. It often happens when the novelty factor wears out. In the beginning I couldn’t stop using it. Back then it was as if I was hunting for unknown numbers and once I even went through my old cellphone bills to check some of them. At the time I was able to run unlimited number of searches using a permanent membership from a reverse phone lookup site.
But as time went by I started to lose interest in it. I got tired of it like children get tired of new toys. I enjoyed knowing that I can run a check anytime I wanted, but I almost stopped doing it. This is when I discovered a way to spice things up.
I realized that you can use the same tool for many different purposes. Some things in life are like Swiss knifes, they can perform different things, you just have to know which blade to choose, same goes for reverse cell number lookups.
It occurred to me when I started suspecting my girlfriend was cheating, because she would get “funny” calls once in a while. Whenever she would get those weird calls she would leave and when I asked her who it was she would say that it was “just” a friend. Passing judgements without facts is not my style so…

Naturally I never told her about this story, instead I went and bought her a big bouquet of roses.
Information is precious.
Knowing things gives you a peace of mind. You know what to expect and who you are dealing with. This innocent experiment proves it once again. And by the way it reinforced our relationship even further, because I know that I can trust her. Thank you for listening to my rant.
